Products and Services
We have a growing collection of CDs and DVDs for you to choose from, all original stuff, and all connected to social and environmental awareness. You'll find video and audio clips from the various titles we carry, and pick up a few titles for you, your friends and family. We've recorded many of the titles ourselves, using a ProTools set-up, and designed the covers ourselves, as well. We duplicate and print our own discs, using computers, a Bravo II duplicator/inkjet printer, and package them in recyclable soft-plastic rounded cases, which are highly resistant to cracking and breaking. You won't get plastic shrink-wrap, and we don't use paper, so what you see in the pictures is exactly what you get.
If you live in Humbodt County, California, or nearby, you can come and record your music on our ProTools set-up! We have limited space, so we can't exactly fit a full band, yet we can definitely record solo and small ensembles, with as many tracks as you like. You can also touch up your recordings using the many effects included with ProTools and Reason, and we have an MPC1000 for your beats, as well. We only ask for donations for the use of our ProTools station, instead of the hourly rates that are the industry standard.
We can also transfer your VHS/8mm/miniDV to DVD for you, do some editing, insert transitions, titles, and DVD menus. We do this work on a donation basis, since all it really costs us is time and a single DVD. We love to help make activist-related films, yet we can also do weddings, graduations, school plays, etc., because we know many of you out there want to preserve your family memories, and we support such sentiments. It's a service that we're willing to do, and we'll do it for whatever donation you feel is fair. Fair trade, not free trade.
Lastly, we can duplicate your original CDs and DVDs, help design the image that will be printed on your discs, pack them in cases, and ship them to you. We have to have set prices for this service, cuz the materials cost real money, and we're on a shoestring budget. We can do orders of any size, with no minimum order, and we can usually do it fast, once all the materials are in place.
